Since the dreaded muffler rule is coming to more and more classes, it makes sense to run a muffler proven to reduce sound and free-up horsepower. Ideal for dragsters and roadsters, Borla's fully welded XR-1 collector/mufflers are made from an all welded design T-304 stainless steel and replace the 4-into-1 collector on your headers. The XR-1s are also suited to Sprint Cars and other Circle Track classes that have room for them. If you run an econo/bracket-style dragster, you can get an XR-1 attached to a stainless steel header. This upswept design is mandrel-bent from the same stainless steel as the muffler.
