Howards Cams Track Smart 4340 American crankshafts use only the finest quality premium-grade 4340 aerospace chromoly American forgings. After close inspection, these steel crankshafts are machined on the most advanced CNC machines in the industry. Then they are nitrided and all surface journals are micro-polished to five microns or better. The number one and four rod throws have lightening holes.
