If you want to relocate your oil filter, you're going to need one of these Trans-Dapt spin-on filter bypass adapters first. They install easily by simply spinning on in place of the stock oil filter. They have inlets and outlets threaded 1/2 in. NPT.

Fits engine blocks designed to accept oil filters with a 3/4-16 in.and 2 5/8 in. diameter sealing O-ring. Extends 1 3/8 in. from the block; includes O-ring and two pipe plugs. Not for diesel, marine or race use.
